About me
Hi, my name is Arianna Andreoli. I am an English to Italian translator and a mother of two. I have been passionate about children’s picture books since 2017, when my first bundle of joy came into this world.
In 2020, during the first wave of the COVID-19 pandemic, I found myself stuck – like the rest of the world – in a temporary Parisian apartment where I had just moved from overseas. While busy entertaining my two-year-old son all day long, a story was born.
Fast-forward to today: I no longer live in France, my boy is no longer a toddler, and another precious soul has joined our family. My aim has not changed, though: I want to bring that story to life and, hopefully, write, translate, and curate many more.
Born and raised in Italy, by the sea, married to an Iranian, I used to live in Austria, the US, and France. Fall is my favorite season. I love kindness and everything thoughtfully and genuinely made with heart and care.

What happens when a mischievous cow and a busy train meet in the middle of nowhere? An unusual encounter leads to an adventurous journey in one of the most iconic cities in the world, a place I had the privilege of calling home between 2015 and 2020. Will the new environment be cow-friendly enough? Find out in my upcoming release, Kakeru the Train and Tella the Cow! This 350-word picture book is infused with fun and tenderness and features vibrant illustrations by Tonio Vinci, a talented Italian comic artist and teacher.

My publishing journey
The mission behind Kakeru the Train and Tella the Cow is to create children’s books that are as simple as beautifully written, illustrated, and translated into multiple languages.
I wish my books could travel and connect different places and cultures by offering children and parents alike little moments of wonder, enjoyment, and bonding.
